Pink & Green Winter Greetings
Hello friends! Today's card was inspired by The Paper Players Sketch Challenge #564, the Happy Little Stampers's October Christmas Challenge, and Simon Says Stamp's current Wednesday challenge (anything goes).
Supplies used:

To make this card, I started out by looking for two coordinating Christmas papers and found these cute pink and green ones to be the background of this layout. I cut them with my paper trimmer and then glued them onto a piece of gold foiled paper. The whole panel was die cut with the second-largest stitched rectangle die from Gina K's Master Layout 2 set. I then heat embossed around the edge of
the whole thing with Wow! Metallic Gold Sparkle embossing powder. I then cut a piece of the NACRE Circle paper with the largest die from the Master Layout 2 set and glued the two layers together.
The snowflake came next, and was die cut using the Sizzix die set. The front part of the snowflake was cut with more of the NACRE Circle paper and the shadow layer was created with green foil paper. The two layers were glued together and set aside.
Next,
I turned to the sentiment, which came from the Simon Says Stamp
Snowflake Builder set. I stamped the sentiment with Frost VersaMark
Dazzle ink and heat embossed with more of the Wow! Metallic Gold Sparkle
powder. The whole thing was die cut with the smaller stitched flag die
from the Master Layout 2 set and I then lightly pained gold watercolor
from the Starry Colors watercolor set. I also die cut three additional
layers of the stitched flag die to glue behind the stamped sentiment for
dimension.
To
assemble the card I ran a piece of patterned
gold washi tape across most of the panel and then I glued the foiled
paper snowflake to the panel. After that dried for a bit, I glued the
sentiment over the washi tape. Vegas, Baby! sequins
from Catherine Pooler were glued onto the panel. I ink blended with
Pixie Dust VersaMagic Chalk ink around a white cardbase and then added
the card panel to
the cardbase with Instant Dimension foam tape. Finally, I splattered
more gold watercolor from the Starry Colors set.over
the whole card.
