Vacation Vibes

Hello friends! In this post, I wanted to share a card I made for a few stamp challenges: Color Throwdown #652, Just Add Ink #564, Little Red Wagon Challenge #611 (stay cool), and the Happy Little Stampers' July Stencil Challenge.

This card features The Crafter's Workshop's Mountain View (small) stencil which I colored with a variety of blue, turquoise, light brown, and green Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. After I colored the image, I sprayed with image with Harvest Sunset Shimmering Bliss from Technique Junkies and then set the image aside to dry.

I then pulled out a light green card base and Honey Bee Stamp's Hexagon Layering Background Stencils (set of 3) to create the background of the card. I started by ink blending with some residual green ink on my foam blender and decided to go wild and add some Stencil Butter from The Crafter's Workshop in Terre Verte (a beautiful green color) and some Ivory Coast Crackle Mouse from Tonic. Later, I directly inked Mowed Lawn Distress Ink to the edges of the card.

Next, I pulled out my Hey Die-namics die from My Favorite Things and a piece of green sparkly paper from Concord & 9th's Summer Glitter Pack of cardstock to create my sentiment.

To assemble the card, I cut out part of the mountain image with one of the larger dies from Ellen Hutson's Essential Squares set and the glued it to the card base. I also glued the sentiment over the mountain and card base. Finally, I added three green gems from Honey Bee Stamps.

 Thanks for reading!
