A Thank You Featuring In-Focus Floral Frames
A Thank You Featuring In-Focus Floral Frames
This card was created for two challenges: Color Throwdown #644 (focusing on gray, black, yellow and white) and Tuesday Morning Sketches #607.
Here is my card:
I pulled out a gray piece of paper out of my stash and cut it using the second-largest rectangle from the Gina K Master Layouts 2 die set and glued it to a white A2 card base. Next, I pulled out a piece of alcohol-inked Yupo paper that I had made previously featuring yellow inks and some gold. I die cut the Yupo paper twice with the In-Focus Floral Frames die. I also die cut it again twice more in some white scrap paper. I added one layer of the white die cut paper behind the yellow for a little dimension but also to make it a little more sturdy. I then glued both of the floral circular dies on both the right and left sides of the center of the gray rectangle.
I then stamped one of the sentiments from Julie Hickey Design's Mandala stamp set using some VersaFine Claire Ink in Morning Mist and then embossing with Ranger's Holographic Embossing Powder on a piece of white card stock. I then fussy cut the sentiment and added it to the card with some foam tape.
I finished the card by adding a few yellow gems from Honey Bee Stamps.
Thanks for reading!
