Local King Rubber Stamp's Poppy Stamp
This card was a joy to make. I think it is so shimmery and pretty, and am proud of the results. The focus of the card is Local King Rubber Stamp's Poppy Stamp and die set, a truly stunning set. I started out by stamping the poppy onto some white watercolor paper with VersaFine Clair in and then heat embossing it with Holographic embossing power from Ranger (that I picked up at my local craft store in Portland, Collage). I used some Tonic Shimmer Powder in Cherry Bomb, Solar Flare, and Green Parade that I mixed with water to watercolor the flower. After it dried, I cut out the flower using the matching die.
I had made the background panel a while ago to use up some old Stickles Glitter Glue in both a purple and fuchsia color that I spread over a stencil. I die cut this with a rectangular die that is slightly smaller than an A2 card. I decided to ink blend some Delicata Ink in Celestial Copper around the edge of the panel and affixed it to a pink card base using some foam tape for dimension.
I then went back and added the poppy using some additional foam tape as well as a leftover sentiment from the Simon Says Stamps Just Because Word Mix 2 stamp and die set that I had stamped with the Celestial Copper ink and heat embossed with the Holographic embossing powder.
I hope you like this card as much as I do. Thanks for reading!
