Using alcohol ink scraps on cards

Using alcohol ink scrap paper on cards

So I had made a really pretty piece of alcohol ink background paper in greens, blues and silver. I used some of the leftover pieces to make 2 more cards.

The first card used two circles from the Wrapped Circles Die from Memory Box (an older set), using Tonic's Mirror Card Iridescent Cardstock in Marina Mist as a base layer with a larger circle and a piece of the alcohol ink paper using one of the smaller circles. I popped up the alcohol ink circle using some foam tape. I adhered both circles so the smaller circle's edge touches the edge of the left side of the card base. I then added a sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Just Because Word Mix 2 stamp and die set using some VersaFine Clair ink in Morning Mist and embossing it using  some more of the Holographic embossing powder from Ranger.

I popped up the sentiment using some more foam tape and placed it so the edge touched the right edge of the card base. I finished up by adding some gems from Honey Bee Stamps.

To make the second card, I also used the same alcohol ink paper to create the sentiment in the second card. I had used some Nuvo Glacier Paste in Sea Sprite and a stencil to create a background. (Sorry, I can't remember the name of the stencil).

I attached that to a card base, and then used the alcohol ink background and some Lawn Fawn Pearlescent Vellum  (for the shadow of the die) using Simon Says Stamp's Warm Hugs Wafer Die and adhered both to the background. I used some gems from Honeybee Stamps.

Thank you so much for reading!
