Crafting is so calming

 Crafting is so calming

One of the reason I like to create cards is that it is so calming. I also love that there is something tangible that I created when I am done that I can then send on to someone else and possibly make their day as well. Double bonus!

I created this card over multiple days. I stamped the Needlework Motif Stamp using Tsukineko Delicata Celestial Copper ink from and embossed with some Holographic embossing powder from Ranger

Then on a different day, I colored in the stamp using a variety of green and blue markers, mostly  Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers (along with a bunch of other images).

Finally, I assembled the card. I ink blended over Altenew's On Point stencil using Distress Oxide in Tumbled Glass and then flicked some blue paint over the card base as well. I die cut the colored Needlework Motif Stamp as well as twice more using white card stock. I used liquid glue to put the three layers together for dimension and then glued them onto the card base. Finally, I pulled out a leftover sentiment I had already stamped using the Simon Says Stamp Just Because Word Mix 2 stamp and die set using some Tsukineko Delicata Celestial Copper ink from and embossed with some Holographic embossing powder from Ranger.I added some gems from Honey Bee Stamps.

Three different days of crafty goodness!

Thank you for reading!
