Adding to my birthday card stash!--AAA Birthday Card Challenges

Creating a new birthday card for my stash!

I created birthday card to get ready for family members who have a birthday in February. I also stumbled across AAA Birthday Card Challenges this week on Instagram, and decided to make a card for their 21st challenge requiring a stencil in the background.

 Here is my card:

While it is hard to see, I dry embossed the card base using Catherine Pooler's Spotlight Stencil.
I thought it might be easier for you to see it in the card if I share the image of the stencil.

I had stamped Altenew's Happy Pomegranates stamps on watercolor paper using VersaFine Clair ink in Morning Mist, and then heat embossing it with holographic embossing powder from Ranger. I colored it using Zig Clearn Color Real Brush Markers. The flowers were colored in purple and then I used a brush wit water to lighten and blend the color a little. I die cut the stamped images and glued the two leafy background stems and then popped up the flowers using some foam tape and then added them to the card.

I then die cut the sentiment from Pinkfresh Studio's Thin Words Everyday Script
using Simon Says Stamp! holographic cardstock and in some white paper to use for dimension. I glued the three layers together with some liquid glue and then added the sentiment to the lower part of the card. I added some silver gems from Honey Bee Stamps. I then flicked some Gansai Tambi paint.
