Christmas Craft Creations April Theme: Humor! Hello! We have another wonderful themed challenge on the Christmas Craft Creations blog this month-- creating humorous or funny Christmas cards. This theme is meant to give a nod to another holiday--April Fools (a day of trickery and pranks in the United States). As a Star Wars nerd, I decided to lean into a Star Wars pun for my card. Shopping Our Stash #480: Leaf Me Alone Hello everyone! Today I am excited to share the Design Team cards I made for Shopping Our Stash challenge #480 , where we want you to create a project using a leaf or leaves . I am still really enjoying the techniques I learned over at Altenew Academy Beyond Basic Backgrounds class so decided to use a die to create my own stencil and ink blend a card. I also decided to use the dark pink, pink and light green color scheme of Altenew's September Inspiration Challenge on one of the cards. Squirrel Appreciation Day! I was able to make a few cards this weekend for the Day of the Month Card Club challenge #47 celebrating Squirrel Appreciation Day, Penny Black Saturday Challenge for January (anything goes), Simon Says Monday challenge (4 legged animals), and Cut It Up Challenge #269 (anything goes with a die cut).
